New Interview with Tom from Elle

Elle has posted a new interview with Tom and Waiting For Forever co-star Rachel Bilson!

However, while appropriating a new voice was easy, learning to be a street performer, and how to juggle, was a bit trickier. “I spent about a month going to Circus school. [It] was amazing to learn a new skill, but a complete nightmare because I was useless at it. I hated it,” he says. “It’s like ballet—it’s intense perfection of little skills.”

But his biggest accomplishment to date is getting over his nerves—and that’s after working with everyone from Bill Nighy to Kristen Stewart. “I get nervous meeting anyone,” he says. “I’m one of the most socially useless people you’ll ever come across. Even if I see my best friend on the street, I’ll cross the road to get away from them.”

Next Movie Talks To Tom

Next Movie has a new interview with Tom!

OK, so maybe romances are more your speed. One of our Twitter followers – clearly inspired by Will in “Waiting for Forever” – urged us to ask you: How far would you go for love?
I’d go as far as it takes. There’s never too far. You do what you have to do for your girl.
(Editorial note: swoon).

Will hitchhikes to meet up with Emma in their hometown. Have you ever hitchhiked?
In England and mainly in Africa. I was going to this place in Botswana called Maun and to get around town – it’s incredibly spread out – you just have to hitchhike, so everyone does it. Also I picked up a hitchhiker as well in America. That wasn’t a very good idea.

More Info About Tom’s New Theatre Role in ‘Wastwater’

It was just revealed via this interview with Teen Hollywood that Tom would be once again going back to theatre to be in Wastwater!

It’s a play by Simon Stephens, who wrote the play Tom was previously in, Punk Rock! The dates for the play are March 31 – May 7 at The Royal Court Theatre in London.

Here’s more info about the play via The Royal Court Theatre’s Website:

Set on the edges of Heathrow Airport, Wastwater is an elliptical triptych – a snapshot of three different couples who make a choice that will define the fallout of their future.

Harry is on the point of leaving England. Frieda knows she will never see him again.
Lisa and Mark are on the point of a sexual betrayal that takes them into a place darker than they ever thought possible.
Sian has a terrifying deal for Jonathan. She isn’t going to take no for an answer.

Tom To Be in ‘Wastwater’ & New Interview!

Tom recently chatted to Teen Hollywood about Waiting For Forever, and revealed that he’s going to be going back into theatre!

TeenHollywood: Tom, what’s next for you?

Tom: I just finished doing On the Road [with Kristen Steward, Garrett Hedlund etc.] and then, I’m going to go back to London, where I’m doing a play at the Royal Court, called “Wastwater”.

TeenHollywood: Tom, what was the most difficult scene for you?

Tom: The emotional stuff with my brother. But, at the same time, in a weird way, it’s much clearer when it says in the script, “He breaks down.” You either break down, or you don’t break down and, at the end of it, you know whether you’ve done it or not. What’s harder is actually just honestly interacting with another person in a scene where you’re having a relatively banal conversation like “Hello! Do you want to go to the kitchen?” That was my relaxed, cool guy. [more laughs].
